Ciao! We are in Italy!

We have been traveling for over a month now and have been in 6 countries…constantly on the go and packing up and moving. It is what we dreamed of doing, but it is starting to wear us down. We have seen and done more in the last month than most people in their entire lives…for that we are grateful.

We are also missing our family members and friends back home and wish they were traveling with us!

Buorgiorno! Buena Serra! Ciao! We are in Italy and it continues to be our happy place away from ‘home’. The pasta, the people, and the rich history!

We had fun walking around and reliving our memories from visits past! We re-created a few photos from Zachary’s first trip which are great memories for us.

We were so excited for pasta and the infamous Florentine steak…neither disappointed!

Florence (Firenze). This city is magical for us. It is one of our favorite cities and we spent time showing Zachary where we fell in love with Italy 5 years ago. We enjoyed recreating some cute photos of him 5 years later. We toured the Academia where you can see Michelangelo’s David. It is still breathtaking and an absolutely beautiful sculpture. It is indescribable the feeling of standing at the foot of the 17’ statue that is of perfect proportions and knowing that it was created by one of the greatest artists of all time.
